Handcrafted Furniture

      Having made furniture for the past 25 years, I've come to love the quality details commonly found in the Arts & Crafts style.    Characterized by honest joinery expressed through exposed tenons, pegged joints and hand cut dovetails, these  elements create a piece designed to last a lifetime and to be passed on to the next generation for their enjoyment as well. 

      You will find these same design elements in all of my one of a kind pieces made in many styles that are designed to fit right into your home.   I am able to incorporate many of the techniques that make furniture long lasting such as dovetailed drawers while keeping the cost down as well.  

     My customers enjoy selecting their own hardwoods along with choosing finish color and  hardware which personalizes each piece.  If you've seen a piece of furniture that you love but need it to be slightly different in size or finish color, I can reproduce the piece to your specifications or design an original specifically for you.  If your desire is to own an original piece of turn of the century furniture but your pocket book won't allow it, speak to me about creating a piece with the look and feel of the original for a fraction of the cost.
